AI Disclaimer & Transparency Notice
Last updated: August 2, 2026
RecovraFlow uses generative AI to help you draft chargeback rebuttal responses. This notice explains how that works, what it does not do, and what you remain responsible for. It is provided in the spirit of the EU AI Act transparency obligations for AI-generated content.
1. Where AI is used
- Rebuttal drafting — generating a written dispute response from the dispute record, order details, and evidence summaries you provide;
- Summarization — condensing evidence and dispute context into readable narratives;
- Suggestions — highlighting evidence types commonly associated with a reason code.
AI does not decide whether to submit a dispute, does not set pricing, does not evaluate creditworthiness, and is not used to make any legal or similarly significant automated decision about an individual.
2. Content is AI-generated and must be reviewed
Output is generated by a large language model and may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or inconsistent with your records. Every draft must be reviewed, corrected, and approved by a human before it is submitted to a payment provider or bank. Submitting inaccurate evidence can result in lost disputes, processor penalties, or legal exposure. You are solely responsible for the content you submit.
3. No outcome guarantee
Card networks and issuing banks decide dispute outcomes. Use of AI drafting does not guarantee any win rate or recovery. See our Disclaimer.
4. Model providers and data handling
Prompts are processed by third-party model providers listed on our Sub-processors page (currently Google Gemini via the Lovable AI Gateway). Data sent to the model is limited to what is needed to draft the response: dispute metadata, order details, and evidence summaries you supply. We do not permit our model providers to use your content to train their foundation models. Do not paste full card numbers, government ID numbers, or health data into AI inputs.
5. Human oversight and controls
- Drafts are saved for your review and are never auto-submitted without an explicit user action;
- You can edit or discard any generated text;
- You can avoid AI features entirely and write responses manually.
6. Your data rights
Personal data processed through AI features is covered by our Privacy Policy and, for merchant customers, our Data Processing Addendum. You may request access, correction, or deletion as described there.
7. Reporting problems
If an AI output is harmful, discriminatory, or materially wrong, report it to our team so we can investigate and adjust our prompts or safeguards.
