Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: August 2, 2026
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs your use of RecovraFlow and forms part of our Terms of Service. It applies to every user, workspace member, and anyone submitting information through a merchant intake link.
1. Prohibited conduct
- Submitting false, forged, altered, or misleading evidence to a payment provider, card network, or issuing bank;
- Using the Service to further payment fraud, money laundering, sanctions evasion, or any illegal activity;
- Uploading data you do not have the lawful right or authority to process, including personal data collected without a valid legal basis;
- Accessing accounts, disputes, or data belonging to another merchant;
- Probing, scanning, or testing the vulnerability of the Service without written authorization (see our security contact);
- Circumventing rate limits, quotas, authentication, or usage metering;
- Scraping, mass-exporting, or reselling Service data or output as a competing product;
- Reverse engineering, decompiling, or attempting to extract source code or model prompts;
- Interfering with the Service through malware, denial-of-service traffic, or excessive automated requests.
2. Prohibited content
Do not upload, store, or transmit content that is:
- Unlawful, defamatory, harassing, hateful, or that infringes intellectual property rights;
- Sexually explicit material involving minors, or any content promoting exploitation or violence;
- Malicious code, or credentials/secrets belonging to others;
- Special-category personal data (health, biometric, genetic, precise geolocation, government ID numbers) or full payment card numbers — the Service is not designed to store these, and you should redact them from evidence files.
3. AI feature use
AI-assisted drafting is provided for legitimate dispute representment only. You must review every draft for factual accuracy before submission and must not use it to generate deceptive claims. See the AI Disclaimer.
4. Communications and marketing
If you use RecovraFlow in connection with customer outreach, you are responsible for complying with CAN-SPAM, CASL, GDPR/ePrivacy, the TCPA, and any other applicable communications law — including obtaining prior express consent for calls or text messages and honoring opt-out requests promptly.
5. Fair use of resources
Plans are subject to reasonable usage limits on API calls, AI generations, storage, and seats. We may contact you about sustained usage that materially exceeds typical use for your plan and, if it continues, throttle or require an upgrade.
6. Reporting and enforcement
Report violations to our abuse contact. We may investigate suspected violations and, at our discretion, remove content, suspend or terminate access, and report unlawful activity to authorities. Where practical and lawful, we will give notice and an opportunity to cure before suspension; serious or unlawful violations may result in immediate termination without refund.
7. Changes
We may update this AUP as the Service and applicable law evolve. Material changes will be posted here with a revised date.
